Last night club member descended on Brent Smith’s house for the Club BBQ and Brent ad his wife did us proud. We were treated to Brent’s Texas style ribs, pulled pork some great homemade burgers and bangers, accompanied by home made salads all washed down with plenty of beer and wine. And just to make a great evening even better we were treated to a live performance of guitar playing and singing by that old crooner Mr. Charlie Bayfield!. I think I see further bookings Charlie, maybe even a spot at the annual Twizel trip (the committee will be contacting your agent). It all made for a really great evening, and showed what great spirits the club is in
