    We have arranged accommodation at the shearers quarters at Lakes Station for Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th of December. We did a similar trip last year and it was very sucessful. Accom costs are $20 a night. From here you can fish Lakes Sheppard, Taylor or Sumner and the Hurunui river so lots of options.     Hi Murray. Don’t know if you were aware that Ted Phipps died on Monday? They are holding the funeral at Lakes Station next Monday. It would probably pay to check if it is still OK for people to stay up there and fish around the lake.

    Thanks Andy, Dave G brought me up to speed on that and after some deliberation we have decided to postpone the trip to a later date and give the family some space. A card will be sent on behalf of the club to the family.
